14-year-old hosts a 'Hooters night' for his family, dressing as a busty waitress and serving wings

A very creative Massachusetts teenager pulled out all the stops — and the fake breasts — to recreate a Hooters restaurant at home for his family during quarantine.

Since he’s been home full-time, Derek Cannuscio has been preparing some truly elaborate dinners for his parents and siblings, cooking up incredible themed meals and even decorating rooms of the house to turn them into makeshift restaurants.

For his most recent at-home eatery, the 14-year-old turned the dining room into a Hooters, serving up chicken wings and fries while dressed as a busty Hooters waitress.

Derek has made several special meals so far, and his sister Caitlin has been sharing the dinners on TikTok, where millions of viewers have tuned in to see what the talented teenager is cooking up.

For his latest production, he made yet another tasty-looking dinner, cooking chicken wings from scratch and accompanying them with blue cheese dressing.

He also fried up homemade fried pickles and waffle fries.

But Derek doesn’t stop at just tasty food — he also goes big on presentation, and this night was no different.

For Hooters night, he dressed up like a Hooters waitress, wearing a homemade Hooters T-shirt, a tight skirt, and a headband.

His sisters Caitlin and Sara, meanwhile, dressed up as the kind of men they imagine like to go to Hooters, wearing plaid, baseball caps, and fake mustaches.

When it was time to serve, Derek pulled cans of soda out of his bra, much to the horror of his father.

His sisters looked on, pretending to be leering men — with one even whipping out a pair of binoculars to stare.

The funny video has already been viewed 10.8 million times on TikTok, by fans who’ve come to love Derek’s over-the-top meals.

The first night he cooked for his family, Derek prepared an airplane-theme meal. Caitlin filmed herself arriving at the makeshift restaurant in their basement, where Derek set up a barrier and posed as a gate agent, asking for her ticket — which had been scribbled on a Post-It.

When she got inside, he showed her to the table, and with everyone seated, Derek played the part of flight attendant, giving a safety demonstration.

The in-flight meal was chicken marsala, which was served with salad and wine.

‘The airplane came to me because I am an aviation enthusiast and I felt bad my sister couldn’t go on her spring break trip, so I wanted to try to create one for her and my family,’ Derek told BuzzFeed

‘I like to make them laugh — life’s too serious right now.’

The second special dinner was ‘princess’ themed and held in the family’s office. This wasn’t dinner for the whole family, though: Derek has set up a special romantic meal just for his parents.

He went all out, too, decorating the room with candles, fairy lights, and Disney figurines, and outfitting the table with a garland and more candles.

Derek even got out his parents’ nicer china for the occasion, and served them a meal of sausage and peppers.

He also dressed up for the occasion, wearing a formal gown to set the upscale mood for his mom and dad.

Once again, Caitlin filmed the setup, dubbing it with French music and adding the caption: ‘Only restaurant open during this corona time.’

Derek’s third dinner, according to Cait, was ‘his best yet.’

He prepared a hibachi-style meal, inviting his family into the kitchen to watch him cook and serve them at the counter.

After passing out soy sauce, he doled out some ‘homemade’ ramen — Cup Noodles —  and then fired up a grill to stir-fry some shrimp fried rice.

The creative teen even performed tricks, throwing an egg up and catching it in his hat, and filling a spray bottle with sake to shoot at his family.

Clearly impressed with the show, his laughing family gave him a round of applause.

Cait’s videos of Derek have quickly gone viral, with hibachi night alone being viewed 27.1 million times so far.

‘Our fun dinners make us all laugh and ultimately bond our family together,’ Caitlin told BuzzFeed. ‘Before quarantine, my family rarely ate dinner together because of everyone’s busy schedules…COVID-19 has showed us that in times of stress and even a country in lockdown, we will always have our families to help get through things.
