A WOMAN has appeared in court after being charged with the rape of a young child.
Sarah Gotham, 33, appeared alongside Craig Forbes, 35, accused of four counts of sexual assault against the youngster.

Gotham is alone charged with two further counts of sexual assault.
The pair both denied the charges against them when they appeared at Plymouth Crown Court today for a short hearing.
The offences allegedly took place between December 1, 2012 and March 1, 2013.
Judge Paul Darlow listed the case for a trial lasting three to four days, starting on May 30.
Forbes, of Plympton, Devon, appeared over the videolink from Exeter Prison and was remanded in custody.
The pair will stand trial at Plymouth Crown Court in May
Gotham, also of Plympton, was released on bail.
The pair had earlier appeared before magistrates in Bodmin.
