A BIN lorry driver may hold ­vital clues to the fate of missing airman Corrie McKeague, The Sun can reveal.

Godfrey declined to talk to the media

The route is understood to have been part of Biffa worker Mr Godfrey’s early morning run and police have confirmed they have spoken to the dad of two.

Yesterday Mr Godfrey told The Sun: “My heart goes out to his family, but I’m not saying anything.”

He was last seen on CCTV heading into an area of bins in the town.

Police said his phone appeared to follow the route of a rubbish truck to the village of Barton Mills.

Cops believe the key to his disappearance could be on his phone WhatsApp and secure messages on Telegram, possibly saved to the handset.
