Changes to the McDonald’s menu have been developed over 18 months, and will be introduced in Australia first before being brought in worldwide
The giveaway comes after Macca’s announcement that they were the first country in the world to have rolled-out nationwide a series of improvements to the way the classic burger range is served.
The fast food chain has found ways to make its Big Macs, Quarter Pounders and cheeseburgers ‘hotter, juicier and tastier’ after the company spent ‘countless hours optimising the cooking process’.
McDonald’s Australia vice president of operations Sharon Paz said beef would now be cooked for exactly 40 seconds on the grill to ensure the meat is the ‘juiciest patty our customers have ever had’.
An extra dollop of special sauce will also be added to Big Mac burgers, while onions will be cooked on the grill together with patties.
Ms Paz said the changes to the McDonald’s menu had been developed over 18 months, and will be introduced in Australia first before being brought in worldwide.
Burger buns will be hotter when they are served, and Ms Paz said the company had also changed the distribution of sesame seeds on top.
Big changes are set to be introduced to some of the most popular items on the McDonald’s menu, including the Big Mac (pictured)

‘We’re incredibly proud of the quality of the food we serve our customers, but we are always looking for ways to give our customers the best-tasting menu we can,’ Ms Paz said.
