England scrum-half Ben Youngs has responded in kind to Matt To’omua’s jibe that he isn’t even the best rugby player in his family.
To’omua poked fun at former Leicester team-mate Youngs ahead of England’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final against Australia on Saturday by implying his brother Tom, a former England hooker, is a better player than him.
But Youngs, with tongue firmly placed in cheek, riposted: ‘It’s funny talking about second fiddle. He’s married to Ellyse Perry, so he knows my pain.

Perry, who tied the know with To’omua in 2015, has represented Australia in cricket and football.
She made her international debut in both sports in the same year when she was just 16 years old.
Perry is the youngest person ever to represent Australia’s women’s cricket team and the first Australian ever to have played at cricket and football World Cups.

Youngs’ comments come after Wallabies reserve To’omua offered some cheeky off-field observations about the five Leicester player lining up for England on Saturday.
He joked: ‘I will list (their weaknesses) now for you if you want?
‘Manu (Tuilagi) is a terrible snooker player, George Ford never pays for a beer, Ben Youngs isn’t even the best rugby player in his family, let alone the country.
‘”The chicken”, Jonny May, very weird and Dan Cole doesn’t have a personality. So I have just been telling everyone about that.’
