U.S. presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders returned to the campaign trail in New York City on Saturday along with thousands of his supporters.

And long-time Bernie supporter Susan Sarandon made an appearance at his rally to show support for the Senator’s second presidential campaign.

Sarandon, 73, bundled up for the cool New York day, donning a brown leather jacket over a green jumpsuit with a stylish red cap.

Sarandon has been a vocal supporter of Bernie’s since 2016, often taking digs at his 2016 competitor, Hilary Clinton.

In an interview on All In with Chris Hayes back in 2016, The Rocky Horror Picture Show star indicated that she and other Sanders supporters might not support Hillary Clinton if Clinton is the Democratic nominee for President.

‘You know, some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately. If he gets in, then things will really explode,’ she said.

Like a number of other ‘Bernie bros’ after Hilary won the Democratic nomination for President, Saradon decided against supporting her, instead endorsing Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein.

The comments drew ire from a number of celebrities, most notably Will & Grace star Debra Messing.

Messing, 50, took to Twitter to clap back at Sarandon’s statements, writing ‘1-What kind of revolution?! A WALL?!’

And the feud continues even today.

In an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on October 4, Messing said she’d rather be stuck in an elevator with Donald Trump over Sarandon.

Just a joke: On Thursday, Sarandon responded to the comments, saying that the feud is rather funny to her

And on Thursday, Sarandon responded to the comments, saying that the feud is rather funny to her.

‘There are a lot of people who find it really funny,’ Sarandon told Us Weekly. ‘I don’t take it very seriously. Sometimes it will be very quiet for a while, and then all of a sudden, I’ll be wondering, ‘Gosh, I wonder what led to that?'”

Meanwhile at Saturday’s rally in in Queensbridge Park, U.S. Representative Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez made official the endorsement of her ‘Squad’ of progressive House Democrats.

Sanders has resumed campaigning just weeks after being sidelined by a heart attack, telling supporters Saturday that he’s ready to resume ‘the epic struggle’ for the White House.
