Adele shares bikini picture showing dramatic seven stone weight loss

Adele has shared her first bikini picture since dramatically losing seven stone.

The award-winning singer posted the picture on Instagram after starting a 1,000-calories-a-day diet.

The 32-year-old chart-topping star was celebrating the August Bank Holiday and the virtual Notting Hill Carnival in the photo.

Adele captioned the photo: “Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London!”

But while many fan were impressed by her weight loss, others slammed the singer for cherry-picking aspects of black culture in her outfit and hairstyle.

“Adele dropped that weight and said it’s time for her cultural appropriation era,” said one.

“Dear white people, please just be yourselves and stop it for good with cultural appropriation. Adele the bantu knots were unnecessary. The Jamaican flag bikini top was unnecessary… Please just stop it,” another follower wrote.

The singer has also focused on a new exercise regime to help her lose her weight.

She debuted her dramatic transformation on her 32nd birthday in May and has wowed fans since.

Following her split from husband of three years, Simon Konecki, back in April, 2019, Adele took some time away from the limelight to throw herself into a healthy eating and fitness regime.

She started making small changes to her diet following the birth of her son, Angelo, in 2012 – but remained determined to only lose weight for herself and her family.
