An Arizona man has lost more than 300 pounds after forcing himself to walk to his local Walmart a mile away for every single meal.
Pasquale ‘Pat’ Brocco, 31, knew he had to make a change three years ago the scale tipped to 605 pounds.
Brocco was suffering from high cholesterol and high blood pressure. His life was now in serious risk.

Pasquale ‘Pat’ Brocco, 31, lost more than 300 pounds after he threw away all his food and forced himself to walk to the Walmart one mile away and back any time he wanted a meal

At the time Brocco weighed 605 pounds and suffered from both high cholesterol and high blood pressure. A doctor told him his life was in serious risk
‘My stomach was down to my thighs, my chest was hanging down here,’ Brocco told ABC News.
‘I was disgusted.’
So Brocco made a decision. He threw out all the food in his Avondale home and decided to start from scratch.
Everytime he became hungry, Brocco would walk to Walmart and purchase his meal. He would walk back to his home before he could eat it.
‘It’s amazing because I never walked 6 miles in my life,’ Brocco said. ‘And I was doing it every day.’
In just two years, Brocco lost 200 pounds.
And Brocco made changes to his diet too, eventually whittling down 11,200 calories a day to barely 2,000.

After he set his goal, Brocco was walking six miles a day. In two years, he would lose 200lbs

Brocco also made changes to his diet, swapping out half a gallon of whole milk for water and switching apple pies and cheeseburger subs with asparagus and sweet potatoes

Brocco most recently got 30 pounds of excess skin removed, seen here in a before and after taken just days following his surgery
The 100 chicken nuggets were swapped with 24 oz of chicken breast, the apple pies and milkshakes traded for almonds and sweet potatoes.
And Brocco cut out the half gallon a whole milk he drank every day completely, realizing dairy was his downfall.
‘I took it out of my diet and instantly I started to lose weight again,’ he said.
Soon Brocco wasn’t just walking to Walmart, he was walking on a treadmill at the gym.
It was a long way for the man who once was too big to even go on a cardio machine.
Brocco has now shed both 330 pounds and the nickname ‘Fat Pat’.
And the newest chapter in that journey occurred just this week, when Brocco had 30 pounds of excess skin removed.

And Brocco, who now calls himself ‘Possible Pat’, is even more excited that he’s setting an example for his one-year-old son

Brocco is hoping he can set an example for his son and others, and show them they can do anything they set their minds too
‘This journey is now a lifestyle,’ he wrote in an Instagram post showing off the results. ‘And I have no plans on ending it!’
‘Super excited to heal and start working out again to sculpt my body into my own masterpiece!’

‘It’s not just wanting to change, we have to believe we can change,’ he wrote in one Instagram post.
‘If anyone is going to believe in you, start with yourself. There are no limitations, we only set them in our minds.’
‘We can become who, and what, we want!’
