As the results come in, here’s 22 things to watch on election night

After 40 days of campaigning, the federal election finally ends tonight. With a few notable independents, a fledgling party trying to gain a foothold, and a different political spectrum than four years ago, the National Post has compiled a list of questions that, no matter what, will be answered tonight. We will be updating this post as results begin to come in.

  • Who will win the battle between the Greens and NDP for seats in the East?

It didn’t go too well for either. The NDP managed to snag one riding in Newfoundland, and the Greens won a seat in New Brunswick.

Yes, the Conservatives took back a few seats in New Brunswick.
