Bride-to-be who replaced every single ‘O’ in her out of office email with a wedding ring emoji is branded ‘obnoxious and unprofessional’

  • Bride-to-be’s out of office email swapped all letter Os with wedding ring emojis
  • Her message was shared to Facebook by a woman believed to be from America
  • Internet users were quick to mock the ‘extra’ bride for her ‘obnoxious’ display

A bride-to-be has been branded ‘obnoxious’ online for her ‘unprofessional’ out of office email which replaced all the letter Os with wedding ring emojis.

The anonymous woman’s message was shared to Facebook group That’s It I’m Wedding Shaming, by a member believed to be from the US.

It read: ‘Hi! Thanks for your email! I’m getting hitched and will return with a new last name and a new email address on October 28 so be on the lookout!’

Even the subject of the message included a ring instead of the letter O, and a bride emoji.

Social media users were quick to mock the ‘extra’ bride for her ‘obnoxious’ display, with some suggesting the woman should be fired for being ‘unprofessional’.

Some suggested that the bride-to-be had gone too far with her idea, and that just using the emojis in the subject title would have sufficed.

‘Honestly the subject wouldn’t be the worst if the rest wasn’t like that. But all the O’s being replaced is absurd’, one person wrote.

While another added: ‘I think the “out of office” bit would have been sufficient and cute. This girl way overdone it!’

However it wasn’t all negative comments towards the out of office reply, as some individuals said they found the use of rings ‘cute’ and ‘hilarious’.
