Good morning, and thanks for joining us at the start of another week in today’s Bristol City live blog.
Over the weekend the latest coronavirus test results in the EFL were released. From 1179 players and club staff tested from 3-6 June, two individuals tested positive from two clubs, although it isn’t clear from which clubs.
The latest results come less than two weeks away from the return of Championship action on June 20.
Elsewhere on the weekend, Bristol City defender Jay Dasilva spoke out after receiving racist abuse on Instagram. The former Chelsea left-back urged social media companies to do something about the abuse after he became the third City player this season to face such comments online after Korey Smith and Joe Wollacott.
Lee Johnson admitted to getting into trouble after he took the giant training ground TV screen home for a movie night and Louis Carey spoke about Benik Afobe’s imminent return to the pitch.
All that and more to bring you today. Scroll down for updates.
