A savvy mother-of-two has shared how she transformed $2.50 door mats purchased from Bunnings Warehouse into decorative rattan-looking pot holders.

Angela shared images and a demonstrative video to the Bunnings Mums Australia Facebook group – which has more than 168,000 members nationally – and swiftly received praise from other social media users.

‘Making plant holders with mum out of $2.50 door mats and twine from Bunnings, they look amazing [and are] so easy to make,’ she wrote.
