The Carabao Cup second round will be contested this week with the tournament set for some quick-fire action this month.

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 lockdown, the EFL Cup will be fast-tracked this season to help ease fixture congestion further down the line.

The second round ties will be completed over the coming days with no replays and then the third round will played next week.

The draw for the third round has already been made when the big boys such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea enter the competition.

The Premier League champions are set to face either Lincoln while United are now preparing for a trip to Luton.

The rest of ties will be confirmed over the coming days as the second round matches reach their conclusion.
