Laura Ingham was horrified when daughter Abigail [Horne], 12, said their teacher had forced them to watch shocking scenes, including public floggings, a prisoner being shot in the head and a headless corpse, during an English lesson. The 12 and 13-year-old students at Beckfoot Oakbank School in Keighley, Yorks, were apparently shown a documentary about Pakistani female education campaigner Malala Yousafzai without any warning of the graphic content. When students complained about the content in the 32-minute video its claimed that the supply teacher told students to look at the wall or write a LETTER explaining why they didn’t want to watch it.
