He’s been transforming his physique to play ’80s wrestling legend Hulk Hogan in a new Netflix biopic.
And Chris Hemsworth’s efforts at the gym have clearly been paying off, as the Australian actor was looking particularly buff as he stepped out in Byron Bay, New South Wales on Friday.
The 36-year-old displayed his bulging biceps and muscular chest in a tight brown T-shirt as he went shopping in the trendy coastal town.

‘I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor,’ Chris said.
He continued: ‘There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude.’
Chris said he’s excited about ‘deep diving into the rabbit hole’ of the wrestling world.

While Chris is looking forward to transforming into Hulk, he said the film has ‘quite a way’ to go before production begins, as he hasn’t even seen a script yet.
Earlier this year the wrestling world reacted in anger after it was revealed the Australian star to play will portray the 80s icon in the upcoming Netflix biopic.
Wrestling commentator Bryan Alvarez, 43, said Chris was not buff enough to play Hogan, and he thought the actor was of ‘regular size’.
Bryan, himself a semi-retired professional wrestler, said: ‘Chris Hemsworth just looks like a normal guy’ and remarked that he had a similar body type to Brad Pitt in 2004 film, Troy.
‘He’s big, and yes he’s got long blonde hair, but… have you seen Hulk Hogan in the ’80s? He’s at least twice the size of Thor,’ he continued.
