Chris Martin snaps at autograph hounds as he tells them he ‘might have had family s**t’ going on after they ‘shouted’ at him

Chris Martin snapped at a group of autograph hounds after they were ‘aggressive’ in their attempts to get him to sign merchandise for them.

In video obtained by TMZ, the singer, 42, can be seen chastising the group of men for their tactics, telling them he ‘might have had family s**t’ going on.

The Coldplay star took part in a charity performance at the Palladium in Los Angeles for prison reform when he was approached by the autograph seekers after he left.

Speaking to the group, Chris said: ‘[Treat me] as a human being. Don’t shout at me, it’s so aggressive. Either ask nicely or just f*****g be polite.

‘Treat humans with decency. These are all going on f*****g eBay. I always sign at least one each.

‘I might have had family s**t. I might have had a shitty gig, which I did have, you know what I’m saying?’

Although Chris was unhappy with the way he had been treated by the group, he eventually signed their merchandise and left.

It comes after Chris revealed he previously sent an email to actor and filmmaker John Krasinski, who he is a fan of, and was dismayed when he never got a reply.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the musician talked about how much he loves John’s film A Quiet Place, and how disappointed he was after getting ‘ghosted’ by him via email.

Chris said he actually sent John and his wife Emily Blunt — who is the lead actress in the film — a somewhat silly idea for a musical version of the movie in which the beautifully voiced, piano-playing frontman makes no sound at all.

The couple never replied and Chris was concerned that John and Emily might have thought he was making fun, when in reality he loved the film.

‘So every time I see that trailer it makes me feel sick,’ Chris shared, referring to the trailer for the upcoming sequel A Quiet Place II, out in March.

Upon seeing Ellen’s post about Chris’s ‘complaint’, John was quick to set the record straight.

He wrote: ‘I… did not get an email from Chris Martin. The man is a world treasure. Are you kidding me!?!? Emily what have you done!?!?’

Soon after, another famous actor and musician joined the melee — one Nick Jonas to be exact, member of the hugely popular band the Jonas Brothers, as well as an actor in his own right having appeared in films like Midway, Goat and Jumanji: The Next Level.

Tagging The Quiet Place star, Nick tweeted: ‘I also sent you an email. Telling you how incredible I though[t] (sic) the film was…. I too did not get a reply.’

And when another user lamented that John never replies to them either, Nick responded, saying, ‘Well we’re in this together.’
