Colette to close more than 100 stores – the latest victim of Australia's retail apocalypse

Australian fashion label Colette by Colette Hayman is closing 100 stores to save the business.

The handbag, jewellery and accessories brand, trading as the CBCH Group, was placed into administration in January with Deloitte Restructuring Services partners Vaughan Strawbridge, Sam Marsden and Jason Tracy appointed as administrators.

Bernie Brookes, the former boss of stricken department store Myer, has acquired a 90 per cent stake in the group.
