Dog owner builds £90 shower for his dogs who love to 'roll in poo' so he can wash them after walks

Dog owners know only too well the pesky task of washing mud – or worse – off their beloved pets’ fur after an eventful walk.

Paul Rymer, from Leeds, has come up with the perfect solution to keep his two pups pristine after their daily outings – and all for just £90.

The savvy animal lover decided to build a mini dog shower in his garage using second hand goods – and now washes the playful canines before they have the chance to rush inside and get the house muddy.

Taking to Facebook group DIY On A Budget Official, Paul shared an adorable snap of one of his pups waiting patiently for a shower – while donning a red and white patterned shower cap.

He penned: ‘Got two dogs that constantly roll in poo while there out walking so made this in the corner of the garage.

‘All done with second hand or cheap stuff from the internet. Cost about £80-£90 all in and a bit of hard work. But happy with the results.’

The shower, which stands at around one metre-high, features stylish white and grey tiles and is equipped with a mobile shower head.

Paul completed the look by attaching a small plaque which reads: ‘Oscar and Kenny’s dog wash station.’
