She’s the Packed to the Rafters actress who’s spent the last few days in quarantine in New Zealand.

And on Wednesday, Rebecca Gibney vowed to do whatever it was going to take to protect her loved ones against this ‘mother of a virus’.

The 55-year-old then shared a series of photos with close family and friends.

Rebecca wrote: ‘Here are some very important people in my life who each have conditions that mean if they contract COVID-19 they are going to struggle. A lot.’ 

She continued: ‘I don’t want to see them go through that so I am going to do whatever it takes to protect them against this mother of a virus.’

‘I know it’s a scary tough time right now but we are all in this together and if we all do the right thing we will get through it.’

In the collage of photos, the actress is seen posing alongside her loved-ones including her husband Richard Bell in one photograph.

Another shows Rebecca posing with her siblings and another sees her posing alongside her Packed to the Rafters co-star Michael Caton, 76. 

Meanwhile, it appears Rebecca is making the most of her time in lockdown after she shared an awkward cooking tutorial alongside her son Zachary on Tuesday.

‘Trying to find ways to keep the kids occupied? Try Baking with the Bells. Hope you enjoy!’ she wrote underneath the almost five minute clip.

In the video, Rebecca’s son Zachary, 16, is seen following instructions off his iPhone as he attempts to bake a chocolate mud cake while his mum supervised. 

In the footage, Rebecca explains she had to ‘keep a distance’ as she recently arrived in New Zealand from Australia, where she was filming the newly rebooted Back to the Rafters series.
