‘We chatted a little bit but aside from that it’s been hard to talk to him because he’s been away filming but we’re in a good place,’ she said.

She also added that she is grateful for the outpouring of support she’s received since the very public break-up.

‘There’s been so many people messaging and tweeting but it’s mostly been positive, so I’m really thankful that I’ve come out with this positive image,’ she added.

While seeing an ex move on with anyone can be difficult, Brooke said she remains undecided on whether she’ll watch her former flame look for love on TV.

‘I’m not sure, I might avoid it for now but I’ll probably be too curious not to watch to be honest,’ she said.

At the start of the month, Brooke admitted she had no idea Locky was going to be The Bachelor after they struck up a romance while filming Survivor All Stars in Fiji last year.

Brooke shared a post to Instagram in which she spoke of being ‘hurt’ and ‘blindsided’ by Locky’s big Bachelor announcement the day before.

‘Yes, I’m hurt and a little blindsided (excuse the pun) but I wish the best for Locky. I always will,’ she said.

The personal trainer also revealed they were planning to visit Bali together in April, until the shock announcement.

On Tuesday, the ‘challenge beast’ ended Brooke’s impressive five-week immunity streak and became the 21st contestant voted out of Survivor All Star.

After she lost the obstacle course immunity challenge by seconds to arch-rival David Genat, Brooke knew her remaining tight knit tribe mates would be a tough nut to crack.

‘I’ve never seen an alliance like that,’ Brooke told 10 Daily of the David, Moana Hope and Sharn Coombes who made an alliance in the initial days of the game.

While the other players were quick to praise her at the tribal council, the alliance stuck together and unanimously voted her out.

The Survivor Finale continues on Channel 10 on Monday at 7:30pm.
