A Florida teenager has been arrested for sexual battery on a six-year-old girl she was babysitting.
Erica Michelle Charles, 19, was charged Monday with three counts of sexual battery on a child less than age 12, one count of lewd and lascivious molestation, and one count of prohibition of certain acts in connection with obscenity.
She was taken into custody at Pinellas County Jail, where she admitted to the incidents, according to ABC News.
Investigators allege the horrific encounters involving Charles and the minor occurred while the teen was babysitting at a home in Seminole between August and September of this year.
Detectives say Charles showed the girl pornographic videos on her cell phone while she was caring for her.
Charles is further accused of directing the child to perform a sex act on her.
Charles was taken into custody at Pinellas County Jail, where she admitted to the incidents, according to ABC News
Meanwhile, it’s also alleged she removed the child’s clothing and ‘sexually battered’ her numerous times.
Police learned about the purported incidents after receiving an abuse report from the Florida Department of Children and Family.
Now, investigators from the Crimes Against Children Unit fear they may be more victims and are urging anyone with further information to contact police.
Charles is currently being held on $605,000 bail and is awaiting a court date.
