A couple are living in fear after a gang of vicious thugs petrol bombed her house in the middle of the night.

Nilsa Nazemi and her partner Will Sandry were asleep in their property at Embleton in Western Australia on Friday when the two petrol bombs were thrown at 2am.

One of the bombs landed on the grass, which caught on fire, and the other smashed through the couple’s car window but luckily did not explode.

Ms Nazemi said she had no idea why they were targeted and the couple have been terrified ever since the attack.

‘Just not feeling safe. Even throughout the day. We’re constantly looking outside thinking are they going to come back,’ Ms Nazemi told 7NEWS

Even though the couple were lucky the petrol bombs didn’t cause significant damage, Ms Nazemi said thinking about what could have happened scares her.

‘I’m no expert but if it lit on fire, we’ve got a full tank. If it exploded we could have been injured. Neighbours could have been injured.’
