‘This is atrocious!’ Guy Sebastian goes on a rant against Uber Eats after the food delivery service kept cancelling his orders from Chargrill Charlie’s

He’s known for being one of the ‘nice guys’ of showbusiness.

But Guy Sebastian was very angry indeed on Wednesday when food delivery service Uber Eats cancelled his order from upmarket chicken shop Chargrill Charlie’s.

In a post shared to his Instagram Story, the Battle Scars hitmaker accused Uber Eats delivery partners of cancelling several trips.

He made the public complaint after trying to order food from Chargrill Charlie’s in Woollahra to his home in Maroubra.

‘I’m done with you @UberEats_Aus honestly it’s ridiculous how much time I’ve wasted waiting for your drivers only to have them cancel after an hour,’ he wrote.

‘This service is atrocious,’ he added.

‘After five phone calls and actually driving out to meet the @UberEats_Aus driver – only to have them cancel… again,’ he wrote.

The Daily Mail Australia has contacted Uber Eats Australia for comment.

It comes after Guy revealed he will not be sledging other artists when he hosts the ARIA Awards in Sydney next month.

Embarrassed: Speaking to The Daily Telegraph , Guy said his own experience at once being roasted by a comedian at a similar awards show turned him off the style of hosting, which has been adopted by other emcees before him. Guy (pictured) said. Here at the ARIA Awards in 2013

Guy told The Daily Telegraph that own experience of being roasted at an awards ceremony taught him the importance of showing kindness to other artists.

‘I was so embarrassed, I felt like the whole room was looking at me and everything was swallowing me up. I already had people down on me because of Idol,’ he said of the ordeal.

‘My approach will be to celebrate how incredibly talented we are as a nation and bring unity, no matter whatever genre you are from,’ he added.
