Home cook shares the VERY simple Kmart air fryer trick that guarantees perfectly cooked chops

An Australian man has shared a simple trick he uses to perfectly cook lamb chops and chicken schnitzel in an air fryer.

Dale, from Queensland, uses a wire toast holder to store meat upright in the air fryer to ensure it doesn’t cook unevenly or overlap during the frying process.

‘I use a wire toast holder for cooking chops and chicken schnitzels, instead of overlapping them in my airfryer – you just have to make sure you use tongs to take it out when they are cooked,’ he wrote on Facebook.

The rack’s vertical design allows the meat to stand up straight and cook through evenly on both sides without the need to flip it over.

Some said they’ve tried the ‘genius’ idea to cook pork chops and hash browns.

The idea was a hit, with more than 5,200 other air fryer enthusiasts liking the post within 24 hours.

‘Very good idea, that’s what I call thinking outside the square,’ one person said.

‘Yeah, use tongs. My hubby discovered this!!’ another added.

A third said: ‘So clever! I’ll have to buy one!’

While Dale said he purchased the holder from Ebay, similar gadgets can also be bought from Amazon, Kitchen Warehouse and Kmart for around $10 to $20.
