How to watch Man City vs Bournemouth in Carabao Cup online and on TV tonight

Manchester City host Bournemouth this evening as Pep Guardiola’s side begin their bid to lift the Carabao Cup trophy for the fourth season running.

Although their eyes will be on a record-equalling eighth title in the competition, City must first get through this third-round tie.

Bournemouth, relegated from the Premier League last season, claimed a top-flight scalp in the second round earlier this month when they defeated Crystal Palace on penalties.

The Cherries’ confidence will therefore be high, and City will be without numerous first-team players, further increasing the chances of an upset.

Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s game:

The third-round clash kicks off at 7.45pm BST at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Viewers in the UK will be able to watch the game via the Carabao Cup live-streaming platform.

Match passes are available for £10, with prices set by the English Football League.

City defender Eric Garcia, who continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona, is one of the few that could return after having 16 stitches in a head wound. Fellow centre-back Aymeric Laporte is also back in contention after returning to training following his positive Covid-19 test.

Midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, however, is in isolation after contracting coronavirus while Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Sergio Aguero are all injured.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, should be close to full strength.

Man City: Steffen; Walker, Laporte, Otamendi, Mendy; Fernandinho, Bernabe, Doyle; Mahrez, Delap, Torres

Bournemouth: Travers; Smith, Mepham, Killy, Rico; Arter, L. Cook, Ofoborh; Brooks, King; Surridge
