Katie Price was spotted buying lottery tickets on Thursday after it emerged she could be bankrupt before Christmas. 

The television personality, 41, popped into a newsagents near her house in West Sussex to take a gamble on Friday’s lottery. 

Katie, who hasn’t kept up with her Individual Voluntary Agreement – over her estimated £250,000 debts, tried her luck at the £3.8million jackpot in the hope of some good fortune.

The former glamour model looked optimistic as she emerged from the newsagents smiling.

She stopped to gaze down at her lucky numbers  and looked hopeful that she would strike gold with the jackpot. 

Katie was casually-clad for the low-key trip, donning a cosy pink jumper with ruffle detailing, fluffy sliders, a Gucci Marmont bag and shiny black trousers.

Had she not done so the court could have declared her bankrupt and appointed a trustee to sell off her assets, including her £2million home in West Sussex.

Katie was not at the hearing at the Insolvency and Companies Court at the High Court earlier this month. 

But Judge Sally Barber noted that Price had allegedly failed to keep up with her monthly repayments with her IVA.

She added: ‘Technically it’s not an adjournment so I’m extending time.

‘Service will be effective on the expiry of seven days of completion of such sending of the email and such posting.

‘Once you’ve done both, service will be effective on the expiry of seven days. I also extend the time for hearing the bankruptcy petition – I think six weeks.’

The hearing was adjourned until November 27 to hear whether she will be made bankrupt. A draft petition notice will be served to her in the post.

Katie bought the sprawling, nine-bed house in 2014, and includes the 1930s house – which comes with 12.25 acres, a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and paddocks.

It comes after the work on Katie Price’s sprawling mansion ground to a halt after it was reported she was facing a £20,000 fine for failing to get planning permission for the renovation works.

The duo met earlier this year when Katie was reportedly still with her ex Kris Boyson, 30, leading to heartache however things have now ended in a bitter storm.

She is said to be devastated by the allegations of Charles’ betrayal and is determined to fight for justice following his threats of leaking information from her phone.
