Showing a large virtual spider crawling in circles around the face, the latest social media filter has delighted and horrified users in equal measure.

Luckily the toddler was relaxed to see the large creature moving around her face, smiling away into the screen.

‘Spider,’ she happily told her mom, in a video posted to Instagram Stories. ‘On face.’
