There will be no regular mail delivery on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020.

FedEx and UPS also will not be delivering on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, except for UPS Express Critical and FedEx Custom Critical.

Most in-person and drive-thru bank services will be closed Monday.

Is the stock market closed on Labor Day 2020?

The New York Stock Exchange will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7. Nasdaq trading and bond markets also will be closed.

Does NJ Transit, PATH and SEPTA operate on a normal schedule?

NJ Transit will be operating on a weekend schedule or have no services in effect. Riders should use NJ Transit’s online trip planner to double-check arrival and departure times.

PATH and SEPTA will be operating on a Sunday schedule.

Are New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission locations open on Labor Day 2020?

All Motor Vehicle Commission agencies are closed on Monday, Sept. 7.

When is the next federal holiday?

The next federal holiday is Columbus Day on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020.
