Leeds United vs Hull City: Team News

Grant McCann has made six changes to his Hull City side for this evening’s Carabao Cup second round tie against Leeds United at Elland Road.

Hull-born right-back Lewie Coyle comes in for his Tigers debut and will captain the team against the club with whom he started his career.

Fit-again Callum Elder returns at left-back, with Alfie Jones and Sean McLaughlin named at centre-half in a completely changed back four.

Dan Batty and James Scott also start, while Mallik Wilks features against his former club.

New signing Thomas Mayer starts on the bench, along with academy products Harvey Cartwright, Jacob Greaves, Billy Chadwick and Callum Jones.

 

Hull City: Ingram; Coyle, Jones, McLaughlin, Elder; Batty, Honeyman, Docherty; Wilks, Scott, Lewis-Potter.

Subs: Cartwright, Emmanuel, Mayer, Samuelsen, Greaves, Chadwick, Jones.
