LOL Dolls Stirs Controversy Over What Happens When They’re Submerged In Ice Water

These outfits have caused a lot of parents to say that they will be boycotting LOL Dolls & they will not be purchasing them for their kids again.

The world is on edge right now and moms everywhere are paying close attention to what their children are playing with. After the news of the Hasbro Trolls ‘Poppy’ doll being removed due to inappropriate button placement, we are even more skeptical about what our children are playing with. We want to make sure that the toys our children are playing with are appropriate for them and that they are not going to cause harm in any way.

The newest toy to come under fire is an LOL Surprise doll. These dolls are incredibly popular among children, and every little girl (and some boys) want to get their hands on them. The earlier versions of the doll would either cry, spit or wet themselves when they were put in water. Then, the company stepped up their game and made them change color when they were submerged in water. This would often reveal undergarments. According to fun107 and a slew of Facebook posts, there is one that is causing a lot of concern among moms.

This specific doll is supposed to reveal clothes when it is submerged in ice water. It does do that, but the problem is that the new “clothes” the doll is wearing look a lot like lingerie.

Some of the dolls even reveal bathing suits, which most moms would consider fine, except they resemble g-strings. These are clothing items that are not considered appropriate for children and it calls into question why they need to be wearing this kind of attire at all.

These outfits have caused a lot of parents to say that they will be boycotting this brand, and they will not be purchasing them for their children anymore.

This isn’t the only video that has hit social media with the same concerns. There are several that highlight what happens to the LOL Dolls when submerged in water and upsetting comments flood each video.
