This week, host Sophie Monk defended the show amid talk of how the contestants were coping mentally.

One of the questions pointed out that star Matt, who was regularly left in tears following his short-term flings on the series.

‘Who has that much emotional torment for a fling especially on global TV?’ the viewer questioned.

‘His emotional [state] is highly strung and his dealing with short term losses has me concerned. Are you offering him counselling?’ they asked, adding they hoped the show was doing their due care for the contestants.

‘He’s my favourite showing his vulnerability. He’s so sweet. Everyone loves him. He’s going to come out bigger and better.’
