Love Island star Jack Fowler has made his new relationship Instagram official, breaking a fair few hearts across the nation.
In a recent post, he shared a picture of himself and his new girlfriend, who hasn’t been identified.
“It’s all good over on this side,” he captioned the photo.
Jack has acquired quite a fan base from his time on the reality TV show in 2018, and many voiced their ‘heartbroken’ feelings at the news of his coupled-up status.
One fan tweeted: “A millions girls’ hearts break….” while another posted: “just when I thought 2020 couldn’t get any worse.”
Love Island will not be airing another series this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. ITV2 bosses decided it would be too difficult to keep all the contestants and crew safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kevin Lygo, Director of Television at ITV, said: “We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it’s just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.”
Host Laura Whitmore has shared her take on the news too, outlining how excited audiences should be for the big 2021 return.
“Great news is that there have been more applications than any other series! Next year is going to be BIG. Stay safe.”
Past seasons of Love Island are available to stream on BritBox.
