Man in serious condition after he was shot downtown

A man is in serious condition after he was found suffering from gun shot wounds in downtown Toronto, police tweeted Friday evening.

Toronto police were called to Huron Street and Grange Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m., for reports of a shooting. They located a man in serious condition. He was treated by paramedics.

No suspect information is available at this time as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Police have located shell casings in the area.
