McDonald’s will bring back its hit Spicy McNuggets this week, it announced today.
Spicy McNuggets will be available in UK branches from 11am on 2 January – but fans will have to act fast if they want to get their hands on them as they’ll only be on the menu until the end of the month.
Like the traditional nuggets, they are chicken in a crispy coating but with extra spices and served with a Tabasco dip.

McDonald’s reportedly decided to bring them back after spotting lots of social media posts asking for them to return.
Fans of the spicy version of the McDonald’s staple were quick to express their delight upon hearing of it’s return to the fast-food chain.
Prices start at £3.19 for a six-piece box and increases to £3.49 for nine and £4.99 for 20 – the same as regular Chicken McNuggets.
However the Spicy McNuggets are more calorific than the originals. A six-piece classic Chicken McNugget box has 259 calories while a six-piece Spicy McNugget box has 290.

The return comes after the Spicy McNuggets were introduced to widespread excitement in August.
The initial seven-week run saw customers rush to get their hands on the limited edition snack – a hot take on the regular McNuggets with a distinctive spicy coating.
They also come with a Tabasco based dip for an extra kick.
