She was poached from William and Kate’s Royal Foundation in August to work with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

It’s the ninth staff member to ditch the Sussexes within the last 18 months, which has seen two communication workers, a private secretary, deputy private secretary, Meghan’s PA and female bodyguard as well as two nannies.

Ms Campbell worked with Meghan on her Together cookbook which highlighted the Hubb Kitchen.

The Hubb Kitchen was a support group that formed to provide fresh meals for those affected by the Grenfell fire tragedy in Kensington, west London.

Ms Campbell will start her job at Belu at the start of March and released a statement confirming the move.

She said: ‘It is a career highlight to be joining Belu at such an exciting time for the business and the social enterprise movement more broadly.

‘I have been an admirer from afar for the last 10 years; leading Belu into the next 10 – continuing purposeful growth and changing lives as a result – is a privilege and honour.

‘The world needs more businesses that put the environment, human rights and sustainable practice at the core of their values and operations, I can’t wait to get started’.
