The desperate hunt continues for a man believed to have been abducted in a horrifying attack in front of terrified children.

Family and police have growing fears for the safety of Adelaide man Malcolm Walker, 25, who hasn’t been seen or heard from since Sunday night.

Police are investigating reports a man matching Mr Walker’s description was riding a bike when he violently attacked and forced into a car boot in an alleyway off in Elizabeth Downs in the city’s north at around 6.30pm.

CCTV obtained by Nine News shows a man running down the road before a white hatchback is seen speeding out of the laneway shortly afterwards.

The incident unfolded in front of horrified residents, including children.

‘I saw two guys in the car bashing him, saw one strangling him, saw them put the guy on the bike in the boot and drive off,’ youngster Matthew Eberhard told Nine News.

Resident Pam Blockley added: ‘I’ve seen two guys sort of attacking this guy on the floor and then the car came zooming out the alleyway.’

Police urge Malcolm to get in touch with them or his family. 

His sister and mother are extremely concerned about Malcolm’s safety.

‘Please be okay bro, we need you to be okay. Don’t know what I’ll do without you,’his sister Brooke posted on Facebook on Monday night.

She later replied to a friend’s comment: ‘We are trying to be positive and are hoping he comes home soon.’

‘Northern District CIB are investigating and wish to reassure the community that this does not appear to be a random incident,’ a police statement read.

Malcolm is described is Caucasian, 184cm tall, slim build, brown hair, brown eyes and has tattoos on both sides of his neck.
