She has hosted the Pride of Britain Awards since their inception in 1999.

And Carol Vorderman, 58, looked sensational as she arrived for the landmark 20th anniversary of the event held the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday evening, with her son Cameron King, 22, and daughter Katie King, 28.

Making a rare red carpet appearance with her two children, whom she shares with ex-husband Patrick King, the presenter ensured she commanded attention as she stepped out in a plunging red gown.

The dress perfectly highlighted Carol’s killer assets, with the dramatic neckline softened by a netted trim.

Her waist was cinched in with thanks to the corset style mid-section of the frock, which led down to a full, flowing, floorlength skirt.

The event’s host styled her blonde tresses into dishevelled waves and sported a full face of make-up including a dramatic smokey-eye look.

Her daughter Katie slipped into a similarly-hued one-shouldered gown as her mother, while son Cameron opted for a smart navy suit, but also coordinated with his mother with a bright red tie.

Carol recently revealed that she likes to focus on her famous derriere, saying: ‘In terms of squats, or the equivalent of squats, I probably do over 20,000 a year… that’s a lot’

Carol admitted that while she keeps in shape she doesn’t focus on numbers on the scale, confessing she hasn’t weighed herself since 1999.

‘I don’t actually know how much I weigh and I don’t care because I go on my dress size, thank god for lycra!

‘I’m probably about a size 8 to 9 at the moment. I’ve always had a small waist, I think I’m about 25 inches around my waist.’
