‘It’s nice seeing your vision come to life,’ Bec explains.

‘Those arches at the back, which were originally a garden feature — as soon as I saw them, I knew we needed to extend the house out to those arches and put some steel windows in that would open out on to the tennis court.’

Despite the final touches, Bec said that the family are still not settled in completely just yet.

‘I think it takes a few months to settle into a house before you stop feeling like a visitor,’ she said.

Talking to KIIS FM’s Jase & PJ, Bec said she couldn’t even fit the front of her luxury car inside the garage and that she and Chris had to spend $50,000 expanding the space.

‘When you go to home inspections, you never think to drive your cars into the garage to see if they fit or not,’ she admitted.

She then urged the radio show’s listeners to ‘measure the garage’.
