Tottenham travel to North Macedonia for a Europa League tie with Shkendija on Thursday evening as their punishing early-season schedule continues.

Spurs have already been to Bulgaria and beaten Lokomotiv Plovdiv and if they can oust Shkendija then they will host either Rostov or Maccabi Haifa, all for a place in the Europa League group stages.

The ties are just one leg, so manager Jose Mourinho has taken a full strength squad with him across Europe, with Dele Alli included, despite talk of a possible departure before the transfer window closes.

‘He is coming and he has a chance to play. It’s important for him to perform,’ said the boss of the England international.

When is Shkendija vs Tottenham?

The match kicks-off at 7pm UK time on Thursday 24 September at the Ecolog Arena.

What TV channel is Shkendija vs Tottenham on and is there a live stream?

Premier Sports will be showing the game, which is available on Virgin channel 551 and Sky channel 412, or you can stream the match on the Premier Player.

Shkendija vs Tottenham team news

New signings Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon are not yet fit and won’t play for Spurs, while Japhet Tanganga is also out injured.

Tottenham were due to play in the EFL Cup on Tuesday against Leyton Orient but the game was abandoned due to the League Two club suffering a number of positive coronavirus tests.

‘The team that was supposed to play last night is different to the team tomorrow,’ Mourinho said.

‘The main reason is that we played last Sunday at Southampton and one thing is Sunday, Tuesday and another is Sunday, Thursday.

‘So this is a normal situation for a football player of this level to have three days rest and to play again on Thursday.’
