Soccer Aid viewers love John Bishop ‘pocketing’ Jeremy Lynch

John Bishop caused a stir during tonight’s Soccer Aid game as viewers said the 53-year-old marked professional freestyler Jeremy Lynch out of the game.

The Liverpool-born comedian went up against the 29-year-old Britain’s Got Talent star in tonight’s charity match.

Jeremy has previously done well in previous Soccer Aid games, having scored the opening goal for England in 2018 and last year sent crowds at Stamford Bridge wild by scoring a Soccer Aid brace.

But tonight John, 53, who played for Southport and Hyde FC himself as a younger man, kept the renowned football freestyler on his toes and fans watching the game were quick to notice.

Damon Shaw said: “You can finally see why Jeremy Lynch didn’t make it pro. The guys struggling to beat John Bishop.

Calem said: “As if @ JohnBishop100 Has has Jeremy lynch pocketed Eeeeeeeeee”
