Celtic visit St Mirren for the first of their makeup fixtures but the shadow of coronavirus still looms large over the fixture.
Boli Bolingoli’s ill-advised trip to Spain saw this fixture rescheduled, with Neil Lennon ‘s side denied permission to play by the Scottish Government.
That’s allowed Rangers to open up a six point lead over last season’s champions, who also have a game in hand against Aberdeen to play.
They’ll hope to cut the deficit to three tonight, and Celtic are in good form following a 5-0 win over Ross County at the weekend.
Lennon has almost a full squad to choose from, with Leigh Griffiths and Tom Rogic the only notable absentees.
The same cannot be said for Jim Goodwin, with COVID-19 playing havoc with even the rescheduled match.
St Mirren have seen three goalkeepers forced to isolate, with Zdenek Zlamal arriving on an emergency loan from Hearts.
However fellow Czech Peter Urminsky is back in contention tonight after being given the all-clear in his latest test.
That means coach Jamie Langfield will not have to take a place on the bench for this evening’s fixture.
