Strictly Come Dancing is getting us in the mood for the upcoming series tonight on BBC One – and some of its famous faces have teased its return in a fun video for social media.

Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman both appear in the clip, along with judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.

Bruno Tonioli, who will appear on some upcoming episodes via video link in the States, put in an appearance in the teaser of tonight’s ‘movie night’-themed episode too.

Pro-dancer Oti Mabuse – who won Strictly 2019 alongside Emmerdale actor Kevin Fletcher – is also seen with her glitterball trophy, alongside the likes of Giovanni Pernice and Katya Jones.

‘Hi Claude!’ Giovanni is heard saying when the video begins.

Replies Claudia: ‘It’s movie night! Hi! Are you in?’

(We love that she says ‘it’s movie night!’ before ‘hi’, by the way…)

The clip then cuts to Tess, who says: ‘Shirley! Are you ready?’

‘I’m always ready for movie night, Tess,’ answers Shirley, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday.

Tess has hosted Strictly since its first series in 2004. The late Bruce Forsyth, who died in 2017, co-hosted the show with Tess until 2014, with Claudia then joining as his replacement.

Celebrities taking part in this year’s Strictly include Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, The Wanted singer Max George and boxer Nicola Adams.

Nicola will be part of Strictly’s first same-sex couple – a decision that has prompted complaints to the BBC.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Best of Movies airs on BBC One at 7.30pm tonight.
