Travis Scott reached the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart as his new song Highest In The Room debuted at number one knocking off Truth Hurts by Lizzo.
The 28-year-old rapper released Highest In The Room by labels Cactus Jack, Grand Hustle and Epic Records on October 4 in a variety of formats and it has become Scott’s second number one song, according to an article Monday by Billboard.
The song was first partially heard in April in a commercial by Scott’s ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner, 22, for her Kybrows beauty product.

The rapper and reality star, who have a 20-month-old daughter Stormi together, split recently after two and a half years together.
Scott debuted Highest In The Room in May during his set at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami.
The song was the 35th to debut at number one and the first since Sucker by the Jonas Brothers in March.
Truth Hurts by Lizzo, 31, dropped to number two on the Hot 100 after sitting at the number one spot for six weeks.

Señorita by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello moved down from second to third on the Hot 100.
Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s new song 10,000 Hours debuted at number four on the Hot 100.
Scott previously reached the top of the Billboard chart with Sicko Mode in December 2018.

Highest In The Room was released as a stand-alone single.
‘I’m taking my time to come up with the next album,’ Scott told Billboard earlier this month.
‘I’m always down to drop music and serve some packs to the fans. It’s time for the fans to eat,’ Scot said.
The Houston native has shows coming up on November 2 in Las Vegas and the Astroworld Festival on November 9 in Houston.
