Desperate search for girl, 12, and boy, 16, who have been missing since Friday morning amid fears for their welfare

  • Girl, 12, and boy, 16, are both Caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes
  • Police say they are holding concerns over the children’s welfare due to their age 

A desperate search is under way for two children.

A 12-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were last seen on Carroll Street in Nambour, in South East Queensland around 8.30am on Friday.

Police are concerned over the children’s welfare due to their age and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The 12-year-old has been described as white and approximately 160cm tall.

She has a slim build, blue eyes and blonde hair. 

The boy is also white and is around 185cm tall.

The public have been asked to contact police if they have any information on the children’s whereabouts.
