In lockdown, we’ve swapped our clothes for loungewear and our shopping habits for crafting. But now things are opening up again, it’s time to reopen our wardrobes with the Next online sale…
In the past, a Next sale online has slashed prices of clothes by up to 70 per cent and although this time it’s not clear by how much the clothes could be reduced by, the bargains are due to begin with 50 per cent off.
That’s a huge saving!
The sale launch date was revealed on the Facebook pages Money Saver Online and Bag a Weekly Bargain before being confirmed by The Sun this week. Savvy shoppers have also been checking the opening times of stores across the UK, as the sale is known to start at about 5am in shops.
But when does the sale begin online and is it possible to get early access?
When does the Next sale start online?
According to the website, Money Saving Central, the Next summer sale for the general public begins online from Thursday July 2 at 8am.
They have also confirmed that the sale begins in store from the same date at 5am.
While it’s not known exactly what will be in the sale, in previous years the discounted items have been across both mens- and womenswear, the children and baby clothes, as well as the home and furniture sections.
It also seems that customers have been sent an email saying the sale is set to feature 50 per cent off most Next own-brand items and thousands of other branded lines.
In the meantime, browse through the Next website here.
How to get a VIP slot for the Next sale
Unfortunately for the rest of us, VIP slots for the Next sale are only offered to those who have a valid Nextpay credit card and account.
On their website, the retailer has confirmed that customers need to have already opened the credit account before the sale to get VIP early access.
For those who are already VIP customers however, the VIP slots for the summer sale started being released from Sunday June 28, to pre-book for the VIP sale beginning today (Tuesday June 30) at 4.30pm.
What is the Next secret sale and how can you get the Next secret codes?
On Facebook, shoppers have been sharing so-called ‘secret codes’ that allow you to check out kids’ clothes for real discounted prices.
Most of the bargain-hunting is going on in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, where parents are sharing 6-digit codes to get access to hugely discounted prices for baby and kids’ clothes.
How does it work? When you’ve found the code for the item you like, type the code into the search bar at the top of the page. It will come up with the product at a discounted rate.
Some of the steals include dresses for as little as £3 and skirts for £2.50.
But equally amazing deals will likely be available in the upcoming sale, which starts this Thursday. The sale is trying to sell off any leftover stock (which we imagine there is plenty of!) before the new season begins.
