11:30 p.m. Update: Snow will move into the area early Friday morning.

A glaze of ice and snow accumulations around 1″ are expected around Columbus. Locations along and east of I-71 could see up to two inches of snow.

Because icing on roads (especially ramps bridges and overpasses), followed by snow accumulation on roadways are forecasted, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service. It goes into effect at 10 p.m. Thursday and is expected to lift at 1 p.m. on Friday around Central Ohio and 4 p.m. Friday in NE Ohio.

Use caution traveling as slick conditions are probable overnight and early Friday.

Highs on Friday will struggle to reach freezing.
